What’s in a Business Name?

What really is in a business name? I’ve got to say that a certain amount of marketability is needed for a business name to be successful. Beyond that it helps if people can tell what kind of business you are in by hearing your business name. That’s the tip of the iceberg when it comes to things you should consider when finally naming your business. I was recently reading an article on one of my favorite sites, smallbusinessbranding.com, written by Brad Williamson.

It was a very interesting read to say the least and it got me thinking about the ways in which people choose to name a company. If you’ve ever read any of Brad’s articles then you’ll know that he has a very unique and to the point way of writing.
