Site Meter… for the Statistic Lover in you

In my travels on the net I keep coming across Site Meter on various websites. Naturally this perked my curiosity enough to install it on my site. For a free application/service it really is a great little tool for those of you looking for an application to track stats on your site quickly, accurately and without much installation (all you need to do is install a tiny JavaScript from Site Meter) and you are good to go.
It’s a great application because it allows you to track your viewing audience in the following ways…
- By Details – This gives you a personal look at each individual viewer to your site and includes Length of Visit; ISP viewer is using, and the time they visited
- By Referrals – This shows you were your viewers are coming from to access your page
- By World Map – This is a cool feature that locates your viewing audience by continent on a World Map
- By Location – Gives you a run down by Country and Location of your viewers
There are a bunch more features included in Site Meter and the above mentioned ones are merely the tip of the iceberg. If you are building your first site or you’re an old pro at web development and haven’t seen this then check it out because it’s very useful.
