Five things that you may not know about me
December 7, 2006 – 6:28 pm
After reading over on Jason Chance’s, jcCommerce Blog, I am following up with a posting of my own. What can i say, Jason asked. Apparently this exercise is the idea of the guys over at journey to a million Blog. I am willing share in the spirit of getting to know other bloggers from around the web
1. Once studied Interior Design in School
I really enjoyed drafting class in high school and when I left I decided to take Interior Design at College but I dropped out only after a semester because it didn’t really fit me very well.
2. Traveled half way around the world only to get dumped by my fiancé
Now I know your first thought must have been what Luc is doing ordering a Mail Order Bride?… sadly that was not it. My girlfriend and fiancé at the time was backpacking in Australia and I was set to meet up with her in Cairns, Australia but when I got off the plane in Australia she decided to dump me. I’ll spare the other details but I must say that I really enjoyed my time in Australia.
3. Stepped on a Nail when I was a kid
When I was a kid I was playing at a construction site with friends and we were jumping down onto loose boards and scrap wood and I managed to jump down onto a nail that was sticking up from the board. I didn’t need to get a shot for anything but man that hurt.
4. I didn’t get drunk until I was 23
Sounds weird to say now but I never actually went out and got drunk with friends until I was about 23 years old. Now I haven’t led that sheltered a life but I never felt the need or interest in drinking until I was about 23.
I was finishing up college for the second time and was out with friends who asked me to try a beer… it was a hot day very hot and muggy and that cold beer looked so tasty so I gave in. I am not a lush by any means but I do enjoy a good drink from time to time.
5. I Drank Glue
When I was about 5 or 6 years old I was in class and I saw this container that reminded me of a glass of milk. I was pretty thirsty and decided to have a sip only to realize that it was glue. I am talking about the white school glue that you use during art class. Mmmm… how refreshing.
Now I could have pointed out the accomplishments of my life but I wanted to focus on that goofy stuff that I remember doing or in the case of getting drunk, not doing. Now it’s my turn to call on 5 fellow bloggers to spill…

Ahh, man! You know how many things I have to write already Luc!
Although I do love talking about myself…
Hmm, we shall see.
Shame about that fiance too by the way!

Hi Yaro,
I’d assume that you just spend your days writing followed by evening and nights of publishing. See that’s the thing… you get an open forum to talk about yourself and then you get to make 5 others do it too. Its like a chain mail letter but worse… it involves bloggers
To tell you the truth it may have been the best thing that ever happened to me… Going to Australia that is… i had one awesome time there and i’ve gotta tell you i’d go back and do it again.
Thanks Yaro and talk soon,
Lucas
