Why is PayPal a great payment gateway?

For those of you who may not have much experience using PayPal or may be new to running an online store, I would like to tell you a few reasons why PayPal can be so useful to use.
- It integrates with pretty much any shopping cart on the market
- It is fairly cheap to operate using
- You can add bank account(s) to your PayPal account making transfers to your bank as easy as 1 – 2 – 3!
- It is a commonly excepted payment option for anyone looking to buy an item quickly and effectively online
- You can use PayPal for invoicing via email to your customers securely
PayPal allows you to add bank accounts to your PayPal account which makes it quick a faster to transfer funds from a PayPal account to your businesses bank account. The rates associated with processing funds via PayPal are fairly competitive with any other payment processor that you’ll find. Usually this is a big draw to using PayPal when starting your online store because cost is always a determinate factor especially for startups. PayPal also doesn’t charge for the setup using their payment gateway which is something I have always enjoyed about PayPal.
Tip: Get yourself Verified! – Now if you have a PayPal account you may know that getting verified by PayPal is a smart move simply because it allows your customers to see that you are legitimate. Creating a trustworthy name for yourself on the internet is ‘key’ to the success of your business whether you sell golf clubs or gold jewelry. People want to know that they are dealing with the real deal and getting verified by PayPal helps with this.
